Very original way to present a recipe. I haven’t had figs since I was a kid and Fig Newtons were one of the few cookies my parents would buy. :O) My daughter (10) came up and looked over my shoulder to read it as well. I have a feeling we’ll be having hot figs at sunset soon.

    • I’m so glad you and your daughter liked it LuAnn! We have more of these coming:)

        Hi C&B,

The contest on my site is for me to make up a recipe with one of your favorite foods and to name it after you (or a pet, or a character in a book … or just about anything that legal, ethical, moral etc etc etc. 🙂 There’s still time to pop back and add your favorites!

Sounds delightful! I love the feel of the outdoors and beauty you convey. Plus, a real recipe is so fun for the kids! Not sure about the river water… 😉
